Author, influencer and sober mom Jyoti Chand is back on the podcast to talk about her new book, Fitting Indian! I absolutely loved this graphic novel, and especially how it tackled the intimate realities of how alcohol affects the mental health of teens.
Jyoti believes that she never would’ve been able to write this book if she hadn’t gotten sober. Now 4 ½ years sober, she tells us what her sobriety journey looks like now, and how she has been constantly surprised by the gifts that sobriety has brought into her life as a mother, an author, and a community member.
