Last week I recorded the audiobook version of my book, and you guys, it was one of the most intimidating experiences of my life! I had been dreading the recording experience, and it made me second guess even writing the book in the first place. I had so much self doubt – could I do this? Would I fail? Would I die of embarrassment?!
I did it anyway – I faced my fear and I think it turned out great. Today I’ll talk about what it took to get me through my fear and how I continue to work through the feelings of fear and self doubt that arise whenever I try new things.
I want you to know – don’t wait until you’re confident to try something you feel called to do. Do it scared. You will make it to the other side, and you will be so proud of yourself for doing the hard thing!
