Last week I recorded the audiobook version of my book, and you guys, it was one of the most intimidating experiences of my life! I had been dreading the recording experience, and it made me second guess even writing the book in the first place.
I had so much self doubt – could I do this? Would I fail? Would I die of embarrassment?!
I did it anyway – I faced my fear and I think it turned out great. Today I’ll talk about what it took to get me through my fear and how I continue to work through the feelings of fear and self doubt that arise whenever I try new things.
I want you to know – don’t wait until you’re confident to try something you feel called to do. Don’t let self-doubt stop you. Do it scared. You will make it to the other side, and you will be so proud of yourself for doing the hard thing!
