Terms, Conditions, Waiver & Participant Agreement

By registering for The Sober Mom Life Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions.
The Sober Mom Life Retreat is a fully alcohol-free experience.
By registering for this retreat, you agree that:
• You will not bring, purchase, or consume alcohol or recreational drugs during the retreat.
• You understand the retreat is designed to support women exploring or living an alcohol-free life.
• If alcohol use occurs during the retreat, the host reserves the right to remove the participant from the retreat without refund.
This policy exists to protect the integrity and safety of the retreat experience for all attendees.
By attending the retreat, you acknowledge that participation in retreat activities (including workshops, yoga, excursions, transportation, or other group activities) involves inherent risks.
You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur during participation.
You agree that you are responsible for:
• your personal health and well-being
• your travel arrangements
• your personal belongings
• your participation in all retreat activities
The Sober Mom Life Retreat is not medical treatment, therapy, or clinical addiction care.
By attending, you acknowledge:
• You are physically and mentally capable of participating in retreat activities.
• You are responsible for managing your own physical or mental health needs.
• You will seek professional care if needed.
Participants are responsible for any medications, medical needs, or health considerations during the retreat.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless:

Retreat staff, contractors, partners, and venue partners
from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, losses, or expenses arising out of participation in the retreat.
This includes but is not limited to:
• personal injury
• illness or medical issues
• travel disruptions
• property damage or loss
• accidents occurring during retreat activities
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel unless otherwise stated.
My Kind of Sweet, LLC is not responsible for:
• flight cancellations
• travel delays
• missed connections
• baggage issues
• travel insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
All deposit payments are non-refundable, as retreat planning requires commitments to venues, staff, and vendors.
Refunds (less deposit) will be given if you cancel prior to 60 days out from the retreat date.
If you are unable to attend:
• You may transfer your spot to another participant with written approval from the host.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows.
This retreat is built on honesty, respect, and shared experience.
Participants agree to:
• treat other attendees with respect
• maintain confidentiality of personal stories shared during sessions
• contribute to a supportive environment for everyone attending
By attending the retreat, you grant permission for My Kind of Sweet, LLC to use photographs or video taken during the retreat for promotional or marketing purposes.
If you prefer not to appear in media, please notify the host in writing prior to the retreat.
By registering for The Sober Mom Life Retreat, you confirm that:
• You have read and understand these terms and conditions.
• You agree to the alcohol-free policy.
• You release and hold harmless My Kind of Sweet, LLC and all affiliated parties.
You voluntarily agree to participate under these conditions.
