It’s almost here – Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸
If this is your first sober 4th of July, you might be nervous. I get it. Remember to keep coming back to the moment you knew. The moment you decided that you’d had enough. The moment you decided that you were done with alcohol. Keep coming back to that moment.
I’ve rounded up resources to help you get ready to celebrate the 4th in sobriety.
No matter what happens, remind yourself that inviting alcohol in will make it harder.
Also? You don’t have to go to the party. You’re not missing out. You’re not missing anything. Maybe staying home means you’re coming back home to yourself, and that’s the best feeling ever.
Keep going.
